Stephen Buntrock was part of the Broadway revivial cast of Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical, Oklahoma!, throughout its entire run which began on Feb. 23, 2002 and ended exactly a year later on Feb. 23, 2003. He started the run in the ensemble and as the primary cover for original leading man Patrick Wilson as Curly. Stephen assumed the role of Curly full time starting on Nov. 19, 2002 and received strong reviews for his performance.

Also featured in the Oklahoma! cast were Josefina Gabrielle and Amy Bodnar as Laurey, Andrea Martin and Patty Duke as Aunt Eller, Shuler Hensley and Merwin Foard as Jud Fry, Justin Bohon as Will Parker, and Jessica Boevers as Ado Annie.
